Our Impact in 2025
Infant loss is tragically common—over 22,000 babies die each year in the U.S. Behind each number is a child gone too soon, and a family navigating grief and life without them. For the past 10 years, Walk With Me has supported families in Colorado, reaching up to 21% of families experiencing infant loss annually. This year, we anticipate helping more families than ever before.
Every year, countless families across the United States face the heartbreaking loss of a baby, including many right here in Colorado. On average, _________ families in our state experience the unimaginable grief of infant loss each year.
Since 2012, Walk With Me has been providing compassionate support and meaningful services to families navigating this journey. Through the generosity of our supporters, we partner with hospitals across Colorado to ensure that every family who experiences the loss of a baby receives a Walk With Me keepsake, a small but powerful gesture of remembrance and compassion.
Through these hospital partnerships and personal referrals, we are honored to walk alongside families in their grief, helping them honor the lives of their precious babies and reminding them that they are never alone. Each year, we have the privilege of supporting an average over 120 families and that number continues to grow each year.
Your donations make this vital work possible, bringing hope, healing, and remembrance to every Walk With Me family we serve.

We sit next to them, hold their hands, and cry with them. Walk With Me is such a huge part of the healing process—helping families through something we can’t fix, but can walk beside them in.

I got into this work because of my own loss—my firstborn daughter, Aacia. Sixteen years later, I help families walk through grief and trauma, because no one should have to do this alone.

It's not just about care of the deceased. It's also about care for the people who are still living. The trust and dignity placed into the funeral home’s hands allows families to start their grieving journey.
